Wyvern Lingo – I Love You, Sadie

What we call now “indie R’n’B” owes much to the sound of the Nineties. Caoimhe, Karen and Saoirse probably spent their youth listening to acts such as TLC or Aaliyah, as can be heard Wyvern Lingo‘s new single I Love You Sadie. Produced by James Kelly (Zola Jesus / Haxan Cloak) with additional production and mix in London from Neil Comber (M.I.A. / Crystal Fighters), the track comes as the first taste from the trio’s upcoming debut album, which will be released on August 18th via Rubyworks.

Speaking on the song, which puts together sultry R&B vibes, soft electronica and soulful vocals, the Irish band said that it is “about loving the feminine qualities of a man, and encouraging him not to worry about fitting into the male stereotype and just to be himself.
