Tom Tripp – Pamela

22-year-old artist Tom Tripp has caused quite a stir earlier this year with his self-produced official debut single Aurelia, which was released through NAO’s label Little Tokyo Recordings. Now he has returned with another terrific track called Pamela, a funk-tinged uptempo number co-written with Tom’s friend and Going Solo’s old acquaintance Liss. The song, which takes Pamela Anderson’s iconic run in ’90s tv series Baywatch as a metaphor to externalize Tom’s relationship issues, sounds brilliant from top to bottom, blending organic songwriting with futuristic electro-pop textures marked by throbbing beats and massive synth-laden moments. Pamela is out now via Tom Tripp’s own label Prime Soung, listen to it below.
