The Night VI – Wonderlust

I recently saw Haim at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and I was shocked by their hard-rock approach, which was a little bit weird compared to the easy listening pop mood of our beloved Days Are Gone. That said, it seems that The Night VI have just dropped a track that shares the same spirit of the LA-based sisters’ best singles (in their studio versions). Wonderlust is an upbeat pop song dressed up with elegance. It’s enhanced by dancy synths and by the mellow vocals of Sophie-Rose Harper, who explains that “Wonderlust is about waiting for true love and a tale of a perfect encounter”.

Wonderlust will be out July 22nd via Duly Noted Records. It follows the band’s first single Sienna and their awesome cover of Frank Ocean’s Thinkin’ Bout You.
