Tentendo – One Stop Shop

One Stop Shop marks the debut of Melbourne-based producer Tentendo, a trained musician who has previously worked for the likes of Billy Davis and other acts from his camp, such as Blasko and Jordan Dennis. His first solo work highlights a production style that blends elements from contemporary R&B and hip-hop, with the outstanding soulful vocals entrusted to a fellow Melbournian female vocalist who will remain anonymous for now. Sonically speaking, One Stop Shop, which speaks of “hanging on to a past relationship even though you know it’s toxic“, reminds me of NAO (maybe due to the vocals) and The Internet, sounding fresh and uplifting but not without losing its classic r’n’b charme.
