Swimming Tapes – Alison

I’m probably just ignoring the fact that the summer is almost over. On the other hand, between trips to northern Europe and several months spent in London I could not enjoy it as I should. Anyway, a bit of surf rock is just what it takes to keep my temperature high, and London-based Swimming Tapes are really good at doing this. Their new flaming song Alison literally transports you between the waves, making me forget that tonight I slept with the winter blanket. Their style definitely recalls bands like Real Estate and Day Wave, moreover they have the right wickedness that makes them brave and unscrupulous. Basically this band  keeps things simple, but pulls simple off well. So much so that I’ve decided to blog it for you today. Now I’m listening this song with a hot tea, and then everyone tells me that I’m bipolar.
