SKOTT – Amelia

SKOTT is back with her third offering ever, a song titled Amelia that distances itself from the previous offerings of the Scandinavian artist. It’s a weird pop number marked by a scratchy, heavy electronic production that is intertwined with organic instrumentals, creating a melancholic sound that only Skott’s bright, wide-ranging vocals can help to overcome.

About the track, Skott has to say: “You’ve had to fight so hard for this love, but it’s not turning out the way you thought. Is it worth continuing or is this the end? The song’s about not giving up, fighting to keep that special someone next to you despite the hardest of times. I get a bit nostalgic. Amelia reminds me of my first love as a young teenager when I’d dream up crazy plans for the future. They weren’t always realistic but they were honest and dramatic.

Amelia is out now digitally via Chess Club (UK) and B3SCI (USA), but will also be released on limited edition vinyl on November 4th.
