Siv Jakobsen – Like I Used To

We always considered Siv Jakobsen as one of the most talented up-and-coming singer/songwriters. Songs like How We Used To Love were there just to prove it. Today the Norwegian songstress returns with the best news possible: her debut album is on its way and we can already listen to the first excerpt Like I Used To. The track unravels around a warm soundscape built around acoustic guitar chords and smoothened drums, with Siv’s enchanting voice that’s joined in the finale by Andrew Davie of Bear’s Den.

Both the track and the upcoming LP were recorded during the summer of 2016 at London’s Urchin Studios under the masterful hand of producer Matt Ingram (Laura Marling, The Staves) and engineer Dan Cox (Thurston Moore, Lianne La Havas). So enjoy this first bite below and let’s hope for more soon
