SHAED – Too Much

Following up last year’s debut EP Just Wanna See, Washington art-pop trio SHAED have dropped their first offering of the year, Too Much. The song is a swirling and infectious synth-pop number with some musical winks to disco and funk, narrowly honed by Max and Spencer Ernst behind the production desk and bejeweled by the insane voice of Chelsea Lee. It’s a first taste from SHAED’s upcoming debut album, which is due for release later this year via Photo Finish Records and, judging by this song, promises to be really really good.

Speaking to Billboard, SHAED stated: “‘Too Much’ is about internet love and the mystery of meeting someone through a screen. It highlights how dating apps have influenced the modern day hook up and dating culture.
