Sean O’Neill – Carried In The Wind

Sequel of the  amazing Vienna, shared earlier this year, Carried In The Wind is the new single by London-via-Australia folker Sean O’Neill. Recorded at Hackney’s Urchin Studios with Dan Cox (Thurston Moore, Lianne La Havas), the song  is taken from the upcoming Visions EP, which is out October 20th. Abandoned Vienna‘s intimacy, Sean O’Neill has shifted to a more cinematic, big approach, replicating in only two songs what Bon Iver did within two records.

Carried In The Wind is a truly piece of orchestral-folk cleverness, where all the mosaic tiles fit together perfectly. The rhythmic drumming, the trumpet sound (that makes the vibe so epic), the handclapping: everything works just fine and shows how magnificent is the track’s grandeur.
