Scammers – A Song That Can Exist

Phil Diamond’s solo project Scammers makes you think of a Mark Hollis who fell in love with Badalamenti’s soundtracks. A Song That Can Exist, perfectly suits this description, thanks to a dark dream-pop breeze that’s extremely slow in its pace. The self-declared link to Scott Walker’s gloomy croon is also evident.

The black and white  footage that accompanies the song is definitely the icing on the cake.
