ROCH – Kintsugi

Following up her mesmerizing debut Closer, sculpture student and singer/songwriter ROCH is back with Kintsugi. The new single is yet again a stripped down guitar ballad blessed by her fragile voice & intense lyrics. This young musician is proving to have have a great talent for writing poignant and meaningful songs, a rare gift nowadays .

Speaking on the track, the 20-year-old London-based artist says: “…I was listening to a lot of early Grace Slick when I wrote ‘Kintsugi’ which was a major influence, but the song is mainly about feeling estranged from where you are or who you are, and that sense you have when finding yourself in unfamiliar situations and having to make conscious decisions to arrive at that certain point without knowing how you got there…
