REFS – Breeze

NYC producer Zach Lipkins, a.k.a. REFS, is known for his twisting, flawless productions with a sensible vintage aftertaste and his latest effort Breeze makes no exception. Featuring again the timeless vocals of Richard Saunders, the song is an successful mix of shimmering multi-layered synth hooks and incessant electronic drums, to which was added an alluring saxophone solo that suddenly brings back all the best of Eighties pop music.

Speaking on the track, Lipkins said: “the feeling of cruising on the last evening in August, swerving towards the dusk… or your frost coated window peering out from the middle of winter… that’s what this song is about.
