QTY – World Breaker
I’ll get over any objective criteria, and I’ll make sure that my enthusiasm won’t mash you wildly. The truth is that I loved it since the moment I listened to it. Well, I’m talking about World Breaker, the newest single from the New York duo QTY. A noise, melancholic ballad that comes to light from the beloved glam-rock and lands into the bitter, sharp grunge. The vocal part is emotional charged, and the two voices of Alex Niemetz and Dan Lardner alternate and overlap themselves on sulphurous and rhythmic frameworks. Their high point? The ability to empathize deeply with the listener. World Breaker keeps things moving into something hopeful and transcendent and it does it extremely well.
