Pumarosa – Dragonfly

Last week Mattia did an interview for an Italian radio mentioning Pumarosa as one of the “acts to watch” for 2017 among a bunch of other bands. Today, just like he read in their minds, they drop a brand new track alongside giving us details about their highly-anticipated debut LP called The Witch. Compared to their previous offerings – Priestess, Cecile and Honey – the new single Dragonfly sounds a lot quieter and less guitary with Isabel Muñoz-Newsome’s vocals that seem even more incisive on that kind of soundscape. The mood is dark with airy synths and a lush, downtempo melodic approach which is in a way reminiscent of Röyksopp.

The Witch will be out on May 19th via Fiction Records (Tame Impala, The Big Moon, Crystal Castles).
