Premiere: Ulises Conti – G

Flau is everyone’s favourite Japanese label and, of course, we make no exception. So, we’re so proud to have been asked to premiere a cut from their latest release, Ulises Conti’s new album Los Griegos creían que las estrellas eran pequeños agujeros por donde los dioses escuchaban a los hombres (or rather, in English, The Greeks Believed That The Stars Were Small Holes Where The Gods Listened To Men), a sound alphabet of 27 independent compositional pieces, from A to Z.

Here’s G, a narcoleptic, dreamy one; the perfect listen for the early hours of your mornings and a declaration of intent. We’re talking about 2.0 neo-classical piano loveliness AND loneliness here: the Buenos Aires artist is a bedroomer, he’s fond of the past but belongs to this era. We’re talking about something special, enthrancing like very few other things.
