Owen Rabbit – Holy Holy

Combining elements from jazz, soul and contemporary electronica, Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Owen Rabbit is definitely seeking a unique touch to imprint in his offer. Rabbit recently dropped a new great single titled Holy Holy, which was written and recorded in his own studio in the suburbs of Melbourne, where he shows off his manipulated vocal shots, full of schizophrenics warbling, over a carpet of minimal beats and echoing synths.

Speaking on the track, Rabbit states: “I wrote Holy Holy about my mental state and abusing my health as a means of self medication. Without a god and a guided sense of morality it can be hard to find a compelling reason to be healthy. Art and creation from pain has been a cathartic sort of therapy, and has given me acceptance.
