NoMBe – Can’t Catch Me (feat.New Mystics)

Since my first encounter with NoMBe, I never doubted he was a guy with many talents, reflected in his genre-blending music offering. On his new single Can’t Catch Me, the LA-based artist collaborates with New Mystics to freshen up classic rock’n’roll, putting together soulful electric elements over a dynamic leading guitar line.

Speaking on the track, which is the fourth to be taken from his upcoming debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me, NoMBe states: “I tried making a Vandals song for a commercial and was pretty disappointed when it got rejected…who would’ve thought that 2 years later Pharrell would save this song from oblivion by making it the opening title to a show he’s doing?

In fact, the song was picked up by Mr. Pharrell Williams – who said about NoMBe that he “makes music for the subconscious with colorful layers and unexpected water slides. He writes and produces dream sequences – as the official theme song to his HBO documentary series ‘OUTPOST’.
