Noah – Flaw

We have a couple of real japanophiles between us here at Going Solo, so we couldn’t overlook Aichi-based artist Noah. This young performer from the deep north of Japan will release her debut full-lenght Sivutie on June 22nd via Tokyo-based label Flau Records (if it doesn’t sound familiar to you yet, there’s just a name you need to know: Cuushe).

Flaw, the first single to be taken from the record, is a delicate, dreamy, ambient piece full of mesmerizing echoes and good taste. Situvie, which is the Finnish – just to mention another country we love – word for “side road”, will be a fifteen-tracks concept work about a girl’s mysterious world in a night dream. If all the songs will be like this first excerpt, we’re sure that the record will make you float three meters off the ground. A promising start indeed.
