Made In Heights – Murakami

Made In Heights label their music as “artisanal fantasie trap” and the definition suits their most buzzed-about single, although we think it’s also quite reductive. Murakami possesses, in fact, pretty much something for every taste: Sabzi’s production ranges from sophisti-R&B to Sleigh Bells-alike nervous breakdowns, Kelsey Bulkin’s flow is both blissful and funkadelic, there are vibes coming from both the Orient and the West and so on.

It’s basically the most accommodating cocktail ever and, yes, we understand the hype.
