Keyes – Poor Man’s Paradise

Following up her debut single Veins, 18-year-old Warwickshire-based songstress Keyes has shared a new tune called Poor Man’s Paradise. It’s an atmospheric pop piece built around a minimal electronic path and supported by a sparkling synthesizer on the background. Vocals are full of nuances and already earned her comparisons with acts such as Ryn Weaver and Broods. According to the press sheet, Keyes wrote Poor Man’s Paradise in only thirty minutes during an English lesson on A Streetcar Named Desire, the play written by the American playwright Tennessee Williams.
