Hudson Scott – Clay

Borrowing him a trumpet at the age of 7, Hudson Scott‘s mom inevitably sealed the fate of her son, who grew up with an overwhelming obsession for jazz. Fast forward to several years later, Hudson has become a talented multi-instrumentalist who’s been playing brass in the backing band of some of the finest acts of his hometown. So he has found himself sharing the stage with Foals, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and in recent year Petite Noir while he was also working as a carpenter on building sites.

Now relocated to London, Hudson Scott has now finally taken the center stage, sharing the first result of his solo project. Clay is crafted piece of art-pop that lies on a groovy interweaving of charming guitars, alluring percussion and driving bassline, while Hudson’s baritone voice stands out for its warm and seductive tone.
