HOAR – Venice Of The North

Hailing from Belgium, experimental pop four-piece HOAR have just unveiled their debut single Venice Of The North, a song which they describe as “a murder ballad about an unreconcilable love and the desperation that comes with it.” The song channels the likes Massive Attack and Atoms For Piece, blending mumbling pop textures with intricate instrumental dynamics and Thom Yorke-esque vocal chops.

Speaking on the song, they added: “We approached it in an eclectic way, trying to create something dark, mysterious and build up slowly as the narrator lures his love into death, before taking his own life.
