His Clancyness – To Be Me

Jonathan Clancy is one of those unstoppable artists who probably suffers to stay at home lazing on the couch. Since his beloved creature His Clancyness signed to FatCat Records in the spring of 2013, he played with the band the amazing number of 148 shows through 13 different countries. Which means an average of 8 gigs per months. Brilliant, isn’t it?

Even though he has every right to take a deserved break, the Italian/Canadian singer-songwriter has instead decided to undertake a solo acoustic tour. Yes, His Clancyness is going solo! To celebrate the occasion and announce the upcoming tour dates, Jonathan shared with us To Be Me, a yet-unreleased track originally written for CŎNECTĔRE, an exhibition by Italian illustrator Ester Grossi. CŎNECTĔRE means interweave in Latin and, listening to this atmospheric, synth-driven tune, it’s easy to think of To Be Me as the interweaving of His Clancyness’ experimental side and the best known psych-rock side.

Listen to To Be Me below and find out all the tour dates scheduled hereinafter.
