Happyness – Leave The Party

If you are following us from awhile, you should probably know that the weirdly cruel sense of humor of Happyness‘ lyrics, as well as the band’s shining jangle guitars, conquered Going Solo’s headquarter from the very beginning. The South London trio has everything to be our guitar-rock crush of the year. They’re young, they act cool and they sound like a 3.0 version of Pavement. And, of course, everything that sounds like Pavement can’t be less than good. The last excerpt from their forthcoming album, Leave The Party, makes no exception.

Happyness’ debut LP, Weird Little Birthday, will be released on June 6th through Rough Trade and it’s already available for pre-order. Listen to Leave the Party below.
