“When all the glass breaks, the hounds come out to play” says GLASS (a.k.a. Jordan Cohen from Chicago), who’s going to release his first EP, Follies and Old Flames, in late January. The first taste from it comes through the soft warmness of Bed.

We’ve been told that “it evokes a general feeling of discomfort, painting a picture of lying awake in the arms of someone you don’t truly care about–unable to fall asleep, unable to feel comfortable, self-loathing combated by lust” and we really can’t say that this description doesn’t perfectly describe what this song make you feel like. Cohen defines his music as future soul, but this song actually points towards James Blake’s musical output, with smothered beats and weightless, blurred samples led by a warm and powerful voice.
