Empara Mi – Spoon (ft. Kojey Radical)

Empara Mi returns with Spoon, a cinematic new tune that features the flow of Kojey Radical. Production mixes up classic R&B elements with sparse electronic, whilst the soulful voice of the British artist sounds more raw than ever. It’s definitely the most confessional track to date for Empara Mi, who also worked together with director Oliver Jennings to create an official video reflecting the song’s subject. “When I approached Olly with the song” – said Empara Mi – “he immediately got it. He wanted to represent the ‘group’ and contrast it with the solitude of being young and finding yourself. Also with us all being fans of ‘House of Pharaohs’ it made sense to have them in the video as they represent exactly what I’m talking about, this fearless young generation, just going for it.

And on the track she added: “You start to question what’s around you as well as what’s in front of you. Its just growing up I guess. That coming of age, when you start to view yourself as an entity and not just one of your peers.
