ELEANOR – All I Want

As you might have heard, Manchester pop band Girl Friend are no more. The members though did not remain silent and they immediately jumped into new projects. Amory is now part of the electrowave project Tonica, whilst Eleanor Neish-Melling has just released her solo debut All I Want simply as ELEANOR. The song is built around compelling rhythms and a danceable production made of shimmering synth layers and punchy guitar licks, topped by her alluring voice. This is Eleanor’s emancipation statement, it’s about taking over control without losing a inch of coolness.

As she explains to Atwood Magazine, “All I Want is about modern relationships and girls taking control of the way that boys used to use girls. It’s about when all you want is someone to tell you no and play it cool.
