Dan San – Dream

As we already told you, Glimps Festival was a great occasion to meet a lot of great people from all over the world and we came home full of contact cards, email and promo albums. Among them, there was a compilation made up by the guys over at Liège-based collective JauneOrange and I remember that I played it for the first time while I was driving home late at night around last Christmas time. Well, the first band to be featured on that compilation were Dan San and Dream was the second song in the list right after their first single America. It starts like a 2.0 version of some of the best works from Kings of Convenience, with a sharp production – credit goes to Yann Arnaud (Air, Phoenix) – and such an interesting twist between piano/guitar chords that brings folk-pop definition to a different new level.

Dream is the second single to be taken from their forthcoming new album Shelter which will be released sometime in March.
