COTE – London

It seems that we have a new crazy talented songwriter to introduce here. COTE is a NYC-based singer/songwriter who just dropped her debut single London, a song made of psych-pop echoes of the Seventies, soft guitar chords, sparse synth and extremely tender percussions. A really intimate tune, about which COTE said: “I wrote London over a period of two years, adding and reworking verses as my life continued to shift. Throughout that time, I always found myself returning to the same theme– the desire for control against the necessity of letting go.

I’ve a really good feeling on her, the same I had back in the days for artists such as Miya Folick, Margaret Glaspy, Hannah Lou Clark and many others. Listen below.
