Bruno Major – Wouldn’t Mean A Thing

Even if Wouldn’t Mean A Thing can be considered as his debut single, Bruno Major is certainly not a newbie. Brother of Dot Major from London Grammar, with whom he shares a home-studio in Camden, Bruno has been working under wraps over the last year both as a songwriter and producer, claiming songwriting credits on Sg Lewis’ Yours and production and writing credits on Liv Dawson’s latest two singles Still and Tapestry.

His new solo effort is a polished pop ballad that tries to point out how pointless is life if you don’t have someone to share it with, held together by smooth finger snaps and electronic loops, with incursions of a gentle acoustic guitar. Wouldn’t Mean A Thing is a first taste of a full album that will come later this year.
