Ben Khan – 1000

One of very few disappointments of Pitchfork Festival in Paris was the cancellation of Ben Khan’s show. His first EP 1992 was one of the most played here at Going Solo’s office last year, so hearing new music from this very skilled London musician makes us each time extremely excited. Yes, ’cause Ben Khan is back! He dropped a new song called 1000 that carries his unique signature: hectic synth-lines, funky bass and killing riffs. It’s poppy than ever, a sort of modern Arthur Russel who collides with Jungle.

Ben Khan will release a four-track 1000 EP called 1000 on May 11 through his own label Blessed Vice. Listen below
