Ayelle – No Harm
Following up the release of her Machine EP, London based, Swedish-Iranian artist Ayelle has dropped a new alluring single titled No Harm. Produced by Dayma, the song is a nuanced piece of electronic R&B, marked by deep downtempo beats and throbbing smooth keys that create a dark-tinged soundscape in which Ayelle’s bright vocals are the only ray of light.
Speaking on the track, Ayelle said: “It’s about trying to understand the reasoning and frame of mind of three different rapists, who probably don’t understand that they are rapists. I also had the Brock Turner case at the back of my mind when I wrote this, and how he managed to shift the blame of his actions, seemingly convincing himself that he wasn’t at fault even after being convicted”
