Alphabetic – Good Lovers

Alphabetic is a synth-pop quartet from London that, for a curious coincidence, had its first writing session here in Italy, up in the hills near Parma, not far from where some of us live. They released last week their first official single Good Lovers, a massive tune that impressed us from the very first listening. It’s a very danceable track, with an infectious rhythm built by retro synthesizers from the mid 80s through strokes of catchy hooks. A mix between Talk Talk and Fantastic Fantastic: classic, but fresh.

Produced by Toby McLaren, Good Lovers is the first song to be taken from Alphabetic’s forthcoming debut album, which will be released via the bands own label Bibliotheque Records. Listen below.
