Alec Benjamin – End Of The Summer

Summer is barely arrived and there’s already someone who’s singing about its end. Luckily for Alec Benjamin, his new single End Of The Summer is so compelling that we can easily turn a blind eye. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Benjamin firstly surfaced onto the Internet in 2014 with the single Paper Crown. Two years later, he’s still dealing with emotions: End Of The Summer is a synth-pop number that conveys all those nostalgic, mixed feelings that time of the year carries with it, especially when you’re still a teenager; the opening line of the song indeed sees Alec singing: “Well, we grew up and we both moved out, we went to different schools in different towns and is it too late to tell you now I love you still?“. We get that feeling bro, we’ve been there before.
