Adult Mom – Sometimes Bad Happens

Through Adult Mom (don’t google if at work), Frankie Cosmos and Waxahatchee are a single entity. Twenty-year-old Stephanie Knipe shares indeed the same concision and naïveté of Greta Kline, and the powerful lines of Katie Cruchfield (that “it’s shit that your love for me scared you so much” you’ll find halfway down I Make Boys Cry could be her brief re-run of “won’t you sleep with me every night for a week / won’t you just let me pretend this is the love I need”). Her new album, Sometimes Bad Happens, is made of six songs and lasts less than 10 minutes: if it was a Pokemon power, we would say that it’s super effective.

Listen below, that get it on tape via Miscreant Records’ Bandcamp.
