A Grave With No Name – Orion

Well, it’s not really what we usually mean with “new music” as Alexander Shields – aka A Grave With No Name – has already penned 3 LPs in the past. Anyway, we definitely think he still deserves much more attention than what he got during the years and that’s why we decided to feature Orion, the first single to be taken from the artist’s forthcoming LP called Feathers Wet, Under The Moon (out May 4th via Lefse Records).

Orion brings us back to early-Turin Brakes’ pop ballads and Shields’ vocals are tremendously similar to Knights’ one there. Lambchop’s Mark Nevers did the rest with the perfect production and, again, Lefse Records’ folk-pop trademark confirmed itself as absolute quality.
