Sara Hartman – Monster Lead Me Home
It’s not too late to one latest addition to our “ones to watch” year-end list. Sag Harbor-born, Berlin-based singer/songwriter Sara Hartman has released today her debut single Monster Lead Me Home, a track lyrically inspired by the movie Where The Wild Things Are and by Bjork’s video for Human Behaviour. Built around deep piano chords and a compulsive, tribal-tinged tapping, the song can count on the multiple shades of Sara’s voice, which confer it that sophisticated elegance which we usually look for in a record.
Speaking about the song, Sara states that “it’s a snapshot of my mind when I first got to Berlin. It was really exciting but very frightening at the same time. I put everything into the music I make and trust it’ll take me where I’m supposed to be. i.e. Monster Lead Me Home.”
