San Felu – Quantum Entanglement
The b-side to Sactuary Blues, which we premiered last month, has been finally shared by San Felu, the songwriting creature of English artist P J Pearson. Once again with James Bragg behind the production desk, San Felu’s new offering Quantum Entanglement is a compelling alt-folk piece that reminds me a bit of The Decemberists and Iron & Wine, but retaining its own peculiarity, thanks to wonderful lyrics highlighted by the killing opening line “Karma is balancing no one owes anyone anymore.”
Speaking on the track, Pearson said: “I started Quantum Entanglement whilst living in a state of flux, it was in fact one of the first pieces I wrote under the name San Felu. I was in a fragmented relationship at the time, and the piece has become a talisman, living in the box at the foot of my bed with all the other potions and spells.”
