Mothers – Copper Mines

Wichita couldn’t have made a better choice by signing Athens-based 4-piece Mothers. I honestly think they’re exactly their cup of tea. After dropping a folk gem like Too Small For Eyes, the quartet is back with Copper Mines, a psych-ballad that turns upside down from being calm and slow-paced to some kind of scattered frantic guitar moments. Kristine Leschper does the rest, proving to be that great performer we already had the opportunity to see in this amazing Audiotree live session.

When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired will be out on February 26th 2016 via Grand Jury Music in the U.S. and Wichita Recordings in the U.K.
