Chelsea Effect – Van Gogh
Canada-native, Venice-based songstress Chelsea Effect has dropped a new track titled Van Gogh, which is about the “exquisite torture of being an artist”, which was for sure for the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who suffered from hallucinations, had cut off his whole ear and, eventually, killed himself with a shot in the chest. But there’s nothing so tragic or sad in Chelsea Effect’s song, just a blurred shadow over this soulful mid-tempo, blessed by the beguilingly singing of the artist known also as Emerald Isabella.
