Allman Brown – Palms (feat. Liz Lawrence)

We’ve been following London singer/songwriter Allman Brown for a while now and we really have to say that his music never disappointed our ears. Finally he announced that’s ready to release his long-awaited debut LP, which is called 1000 Years and will be released early next year. Palms is the first song that can be heard off the record and it sees Brown teaming up again with Cash+David’s Liz Lawrence, with whom he collaborated in 2013 int the breakthrough single Sons And Daughters. Built around gentle guitar chords, the track has a terrific dreamy vibe created through a wise use of subtle electronic elements, where Allman proves to have learned the lesson give by masters like Bon Iver or the latest Sufjan Stevens. The poignant soundscape is then completed by the interweaving of the heartfelt voices of the two artists, who showcase here a profound and strong connection. Listen below.

1000 Years will be self-releasing by Allman Brown on February 10th, 2017.
